The Martini Hour is a full length Cabaret Jazz show presented by Sydney’s Cabaret ensemble - Cabaret No 5.

From Britain’s Swing Jazz rival scene and the satirical spectacles that characterised Germany, to the feathers and fanfare of the Moulin Rouge in Paris, this show brings all the thrills and spills of the 19th century Cabaret era to life. 

Like a well-versed dive into the Prohibition history books, audiences are sure to feel as if they are sitting in a 1920s Speakeasy bar sipping a straight up martini. The music is unexpected, the choreographies are audacious and the performers are nothing short of mesmerising. 

Complete with modern jazz vocals from our female songstress, accompanied by our male suitor on the saxophone and backed by our cast of 19th century Cabaret jazz dancers… This is a sure production of the underground steamy jazz era.
